KITTEN ADOPTION
If you see a kitten or older cat looking for a new home on our website that you feel you might be able to provide a good home for, please e-mail us telling us about your family situation, what type of place you live, and if you have any other animals. We like to get a feel of what type of home our kittens may be moving to. Our kittens leave our home between 12-14 weeks of age once they have learnt from their Mother & litter mates how to be a respectable member of the human family. They are bought up indoors only from birth, and we prefer they stay that way when they move off to their new homes. British really aren't a breed that is suited to life outdoors, and if you feel they should be able to have access to "the great outdoors" it's best to build a cat enclosure off the side of your home, so they are still safely contained. All our pet kittens are desexed before they leave for their new home. This is to prevent them first and foremost from adding to the number of unwanted litters out there in the world. It also prevents them spraying, calling for a mate (VERY noisy), and just generally makes them calmer, and easier to live with. We do sell entire kittens on occasion, but only to registered breeders registered with CCCA, ACF, or ANCATS in Australia. We will sell to overseas breeders, but only if we've formed a solid friendship prior to when the kittens are born. WE WILL ONLY EVER SELL KITTENS FOR BREEDING THAT WE FEEL ARE WORTHY OF BEING PUT ON THE SHOW BENCH & PASSING ON THEIR GENES - IT'S OUR REPUTATION ON THE LINE.

As you can see we are already up to almost $450, and I haven't even included all the kitten milk powder, dry food, meat, kitty litter, worming, flea control & countless other things we've purchased for them until they reach the age of 12 weeks. Not to mention the time we put into socialisation that we could be spending with our human family members. You can't put a cost on some things. As you can see, cat breeders don't make much money, so please don't ask for a discount, as we are not a charity. Lastly, our kittens are bought up in a normal household environment. As well as having been handled from birth by a toddler, they are used to large breed dogs (Labrador & Boxer), as well as all the normal household noises: dishwasher, Mixmaster, vacuum cleaner, TV, washing machine & dryer.
